Paris Ceramics

Guy Kellner

Guy spent almost his entire career in the hotel & restaurant business-an outlier to his family of creatives: Graphic Designer, Architect, Jeweler & Pottery maker, and a father who was formerly a CEO of a paint manufacturing company.

Though hospitality was the sector, running restaurant companies in NY, London, and Philadelphia, much of his career was also focused on imagining and designing restaurant spaces.

After over 30 years in the business and countless hours in the backstage of beautiful spaces, it was time for a radical change. His wife, having fallen into the stone business quite by accident 10 years ago, were presented with an opportunity to become a part of Paris Ceramics for its next chapter.

Breda Kellner

After spending the vast majority of her career in sales in the luxury hospitality business, with such hotels The Savoy and The Connaught in London, and The Peninsula Group in Hong Kong, Breda happened upon, quite by accident, the stone business.

Fascinated with the process of the mining of raw material, and the details in cutting, finishing, and ultimately it being installed in one’s home, it was a quick career shift. Starting off selling molded stone architecturals for Francois & Co, and then learning more about dimensional stone, it was a natural progression to fall in love with Paris Ceramics. The antique products and the very specially custom created finishes on the newly quarried materials make each and every project exciting, new, and unique.

The Story of Paris Ceramics

From the very beginning, in 1982, Paris Ceramics has been different. From what started out as a tile shop in London selling French Ceramics, to what it is today, Paris Ceramics has pioneered the reclamation of both antique stone and terracotta.

The founder then embarked to develop a network to discover and preserve original floors from around the world as well as transforming newly quarried material. Over the years, we have invested heavily in building an infrastructure in many countries, allowing us to guarantee our quality. We have the facility to transform rough quarried stone into extremely sophisticated products in order to manage complex projects. At the workshop in VA, we have married state-of-the-art machinery with the finer skill of hand-finished techniques to create flooring which is unique and stands the test of time
